The Flagstaff Sports Foundation is honored to announce the launch of a new program dedicated to our local young athletes, The Flagstaff Sports Foundation Community Assistance Fund (CAF). The CAF is designed to provide financial assistance to our Flagstaff youth athletes who may need additional help in acquiring essential sporting equipment. Whether it is shoes, gloves, helmets, or balls, we believe every child should have the gear they need to play safely and confidently.

The Process

We have made the CAF application process accessible to the entire community. Applications can be submitted by:

--Teachers and administrators

--Parents and guardians

--Coaches and recreational leaders

--The athletes themselves

Committee Review

--CONFIDENTIALITY: All applications are kept strictly confidential.

--CAF committee members will meet and decide on a financial award on a case-by-case basis as applications are received and funds are available.

--NOTIFICATION: Only successful applicants will be notified following the committee’s review.

Looking Ahead

While this program is in its infancy and currently operates with limited resources, it is our goal to grow the CAF funding and increase our annual distributions. We are committed to supporting Flagstaff’s young athletes as they pursue their passions.
